I'm back in the great old land of Aus from the emotionless, fetid cesspool that is the United States of America. Hopefully I'll catch up with everyone over the next couple of weeks and regale you all with my drunken exploits. I'm coming Home

Howdy, howdy, howdy,

Well it's only a matter of about five days before I'm back Aus and I have to say that I really could do more travelling, but you know, money doesn't come cheap. As my last hoorah in this country on Saturday I am attending a wedding that all the Waite's will be also be attending, so it should be a grand send off. Yay!

Otherwise it's been a rather quiet last week except I was able to go see Rise Against live downtown in Austin which was pretty cool. The only downer was that I was a bit sick which isn't much fun in a mosh pit. Still, I had a great time, even if the concert wasn't as good as when I saw them play in Sydney.

I was asked the other day by Barry what were my favourite and least favourite things about being in America which related to the country and my experience. To tell the truth America is quite similar to Australia but just not as good in many respects. I can't really put my finger on it but I just don't think that as a whole it is as nice a place as Australia is. There's not as much soul, whatever the hell that means. Just my opinion though.
